Faringdon may sit on the Oxfordshire side of the border, but it is closer to us than a lot of its own county. Follow the A417 down through Buscot and Lechlade and our Fairford workshop is about ten miles on, somewhere near eighteen minutes of gentle driving. Faringdon is a busy little place. There is the daily flow through Market Place and past the old 17th-century Town Hall, traffic peeling off the A420 between Oxford and Swindon, and visitors winding up Folly Hill to look at the Folly Tower, the last folly ever built in England.
