A horsebox takes a hammering that most vehicles never see. Tight gateways, muddy yards, low branches down the lane and years of standing out in the rain all leave their mark. Boxes of every shape and size
We work on the lot, from compact trailer-style boxes through to large HGV-based units that need proper room to handle. The job is the same in spirit: sort the damage, get the panels true again, and leave the box looking the part. Work that comes through the doors regularly includes:
- Dented, split and scuffed side panels
- Damaged corners, side skirts and luton sections
- Scrapes and gouges from gates, hedges and posts
- Faded or flaking paint brought back with a fresh finish

Bringing the colour back
Years of sun and rain leave the outside of a box looking chalky and tired long before anything is actually wrong with it. A respray changes that. We flat the surfaces back, deal with any damage underneath first, then lay new colour so the whole box looks even and cared for again. After a knock
Lanes round here weren’t built for wide vehicles, so the odd scrape happens to the best of drivers. When a box comes in with accident damage, we check it over properly, straighten or replace what’s needed, and make sure it’s sound before any paint goes on. If the repair is going through insurance, it’s worth knowing you can usually pick your own repairer rather than the one your insurer suggests.

We know a horsebox off the road can mean a missed show or a scramble for a hire. So we’re straight with you about timescales from the start, order parts ahead where we can, and aim to keep the box with us no longer than it needs to be. If dropping it off is tricky, ask about collection and delivery, which we sort by arrangement.
