A motorhome or camper is a big investment and a lot of good memories rolled into one, so any damage to it stings a bit more than a scuff on the family runabout. Bring it to our workshop in Fairford, or send a few photos over, and we’ll tell you plainly what it needs and what it’ll cost. We work on all makes and layouts, from panel-van conversions to full coachbuilts.
The kind of work we take on
Leisure vehicles pick up their own particular knocks. Long, tall and wide, they catch hedges, low branches and the odd post on a tight pitch. We handle the lot, including:
- Scuffs, dents and scratches down the sides and corners
- Cracked, split or scraped GRP and panel sections
- Damaged skirts, lockers, doors and window surrounds
- Faded, peeling or tired graphics and decals
- Bumper and overhang damage from kerbs and posts
- Repairs after an accident or collision, large or small
If the damage has let water in, flag it when you book so we can check it over properly before the cosmetic side begins.
Bringing the paint back to life
Years of sun, rain and motorway grime take the shine off any leisure vehicle. We can lift a single faded panel or repaint larger areas, matching the colour so the repair sits in with the rest of the bodywork. Our respray and refinishing work covers tired finishes and accident damage alike, and we can sort the graphics and striping at the same time so it leaves looking smart rather than patched.
How we keep it simple
- Have a look. We assess the damage in person or from your photos and give you a clear, no-charge quote.
- Find a date. We book it in to suit you and order any parts ahead of time so nothing holds the job up.
- Do the work. Panels are repaired or replaced, the paint is matched and blended, and we check the whole thing over before you collect.
If getting a large vehicle to us is awkward, ask about collection and delivery, which we offer by arrangement.
Local, and used to bigger vehicles
Plenty of horsebox and large-vehicle work comes through the same bay, so a motorhome holds no surprises for us. We also look after horseboxes and other sizeable vehicles under the same roof. Owners bring their campers and motorhomes to us from Cirencester, South Cerney and the lakes, Swindon and the villages around Fairford.
